I'll start with a match that would have blown the roof off of any arena in North America if it happened eight years ago. In 2008, Chris Jericho was putting a career-best performance as the best heel in the business, going up against Shawn Michaels for the majority of the year in what was easily the feud of the year. AJ Styles was in TNA, not doing a whole lot but he was still recognised as one of the finest pro wrestlers on the planet. Fast forward to 2016 and things are different. The two men have gone in different directions, with Jericho's appearances becoming more and more sporadic as he focuses on other ventures whilst Styles has become a far more rounded performer. Still, seeing AJ Styles go up against Chris Jericho is a dream match scenario for any modern day fan of professional wrestling. Jericho has noted on a number of occasions on his podcast that he is only really interested in working with the better in-ring performers, and they don't come much better than AJ Styles.
