10 Awesome 2020 Wrestling Moments We Wish Had Live Fans

10. Matt Cardona Appears In All Elite Wrestling

Ever since AEW's inception, there has been a palpable excitement around which stars will transition over to the company. A big selling point for the show is the fact that such appearances are possible, and there have been some great times when this pays off.

Debuts such as the reveal of Chris Jericho in Jacksonville, the arrival of Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley's shock factor have given AEW an exciting vibe. Unfortunately, a great debut or return almost always needs the reaction of a live crowd to display the significance.

Matt Cardona unfortunately suffered due to this, as he made his debut for AEW coming to the rescue of Cody Rhodes. This could have been such a powerful moment, as many suspected he was coming and anticipated it with excitement. Sadly whilst it is still a cool thing to look back on, the lack of pop makes it feel incredibly lacklustre.

AEW made the right decision by having their performers ringside to add some sound to the show, but sadly here the former Zach Ryder was robbed of the reaction he deserved.
