Back in the early 1990s, the world of professional wrestling descended into a farce littered with cartoon characters and clowns. Watching the product back then, it was clear to see how it was solely intended for children, with little or nothing in the way of compelling action for anyone over the age of around 10. Although, as you are about to see, there are some examples from your childhood that you will look at in a completely different light after reading this. Fast forward a few years and wrestling's second huge boom in popularity meant a shift into the mainstream was required. This saw an edgier product take to our screens, something the parents of good ol' Little Jimmy wouldn't have been happy with.
