10. Beef With CM Punk In ROH

During an interview with Daily Mail to promote the Bash in Berlin event, Kevin Owens had some interesting words about his relationship with CM Punk and claimed they were not friends. Owens stated that they had no reason to talk unless they had to work with each other in the future. While Owens' comment might seem straightforward, fans can't help but recognize a bit of resentment Owens might hold towards Punk.

While the two have never competed against each other, they did work under the same roof during their time in Ring of Honor. When Owens started in ROH around 2005, CM Punk was already a prominent member of the roster and a locker room leader and trainer.

Punk reportedly had some problems with the fact that he was wrestling in a t-shirt. Punk wanted Owens to compete in a singlet, and when the word got out to the latter, he wore a singlet in one of his matches. When he got to the back, he reportedly said to Punk, "Are you happy now?" which resulted in the latter in a brief verbal altercation between the two.

While it's surprising the two have never shared the ring before, that might change in the coming months, and they have the perfect back story to build a heated rivalry down the road.
