As per Shane McMahon's orders, Chris Jericho's long-running Highlight Reel talk show segment was cancelled in favor of Dean Ambrose's Ambrose Asylum. Gone was the obscenely expensive Jeritron 6000, and in its place stood a simple potted plant, which Ambrose named Mitch.

Unfortunately, The Ambrose Asylum wouldn't last long - and neither would Mitch. When Ambrose welcomed Stephanie McMahon on his show as a guest, he couldn't help but needle her about getting Speared by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania and forced to run Raw in tandem with Shane. In response, Stephanie immediately cancelled The Ambrose Asylum and brought back The Highlight Reel.

Chris Jericho made his way out to the ring and got into a staredown with Ambrose. As the two had already been feuding, things soon turned physical. Ambrose seemed to have the upper hand when he took Jericho into the ring and hit him with Dirty Deeds, but Jericho came back, grabbed Mitch, and shattered the plant and pot over "The Lunatic Fringe's" head.
