10 Best Adams In Wrestling
Sorry, Pacitti and Blampied, you don't make the cut. This is an Adam vs. Adam for the ages!
Certain names crop up over and over in sports if you pay attention. Professional wrestling has its Scotts, its Steves, its Chrises, and yes, its Adams.
Dozens of Adams have stepped into the squared circle over the years, but only a select few have gone onto greatness (although it's too early to determine what the legacies will be for the Adams of WCPW/WhatCulture).
But I digress.
We're focusing on wrestlers and performers with the first name Adam. So unfortunately for Bryan Adams, Brooke Adams (nee Tessmacher), Matthew Adams (aka Buddy Murphy), and "Gentleman" Chris Adams, you're outta luck.
That goes double for you, Mike Adamle.
And as for former TNA Tag Team Champion (!) Adam "Pacman" Jones, no way. Because standing on the apron and throwing money doesn't count as wrestling.
From Three Mile Island to Panama City, we've scoured the wrestling landscape for Adams of all shapes and sizes to determine, at the end of the day, just who is the reigning Adam of pro wrestling. And from a list of over one hundred Adams, these are the ten best in the business.
Without further Adamly ado, let's get started.
10. Adam Bomb
Yes, Bryan Clark went on to make a decent name for himself as one-half of KroniK, but as Adam Bomb, he was 100 megatons of pure dud.
His only claim to fame? Being one of a dozen heels to help Yokozuna hog-pile the Undertaker during their casket match at the Royal Rumble.
For a man kayfabe-exposed to radiation - the boilerplate launchpad for dozens of comic book heroes - Adam Bomb was all flash and no impact. You know things are dismal when a job cosplaying as a Mortal Kombat character for WCW feels like a huge step up career-wise.
Adam Bomb would end up a footnote in his wrestling career, but we wouldn't be wrestling fans if we let things like this go.
