Ludvig Borga was not that successful in WWE, but the whole point of the character was to go against the American wrestlers, in particular Lex Luger. Borga was a wrestler from Finland. He started out in the summer of 1993 as a guy that beat jobbers for the most part, but then he got a push after SummerSlam as the rival of Lex Luger. This was when Luger was doing the All-American gimmick so WWE wanted him facing foreign heels. He was actually the guy that ended Tatanka's undefeated streak too.
