10 Best Candidates To Induct DDP Into WWE Hall Of Fame 2017

5. Michael Hayes

Michael Hayes has held a lot of sway with Vince McMahon in an executive role with WWE for around two decades. Yet despite all that, it took years before he was finally granted his own long overdue induction into the Hall of Fame until last year. His acceptance speech as a member of the Freebirds alongside 'Gorgeous' Jimmy Garvin was one of the most memorable in the Hall’s history and the definite highlight of least year's ceremony.

Hayes and DDP have a history together dating back to when Page was a manager still trying to find a way to break through as a wrestler. He was paired with the later version of the Freebirds alongside Hayes and Garvin while in WCW, and his personality fit in perfectly with the group. The ‘Birds were notorious partiers and hellraisers in and out of character and Dallas could hang right there with them.

If one looks closely you can see a lot of Michael 'P.S.' Hayes in DDP’s personality and style, and whether it’s intentional or not it’s hard not to be reminded of his brief connection to the Freebirds when watching him in action. Since Hayes is a top name behind the scenes and has proven that he can tear the house down on the Hall of Fame stage, I could easily see WWE decide to go with him as Page’s inductor.
