The Miz has been running incarnations of the cowardly heel since initially making the break out into a singles star. His latest movie star gimmick is another example of it too - given he's just that little bit afraid of being struck in the face. Or his 'money-maker' as he calls it. When you think about it, Miz is quite convincing in the role. Nobody particularly likes him - which is exactly what a wrestling heel should yearn for - and he's as loud mouth and as irritating as they come. The type of guy who you would just love to see take a kick to the chops. He's not though quite good enough to reach the status of 'so good that we love him no matter what', but he'll remain a steady mid-carder with the occasional push up throughout his career. It never really worked for him as WWE Champion during his main event run either, but even the manner of his win over John Cena at WrestleMania 27 played perfectly into how Miz does business.
