As hard as it might be to believe, comedy wrestler Greg the Hurricane Helms actually used the Chokeslam for a time, with surprising success. Despite being so much smaller than the majority of his opponents, the Hurricane actually used the move successfully on many occasions, and even won some matches with it. That said, it was particularly funny (or stupid, depending on your perspective) to see the Hurricane grab his opponents throat as though he were a massive wrestler like the Undertaker or Kane, and then slam them down. The Chokeslam is very much a big mans move, because height and arm reach are major assets that amplify the moves elevation and perceived power. Because of that, the Hurricanes take on the Chokeslam never looked particularly devastating. That said, it was a very good surprise move, in that Hurricanes successful execution of the move, especially on someone bigger than him, got him extra attention, which prevented him from being lost in the shuffle along with many of the other cruiserweights in WWE at the time.
