10 Best Chokeslams In Wrestling History

4. Vader

The mammoth, 450-pound Vader was synonymous with devastation no matter what moves he used. Whether he was using a powerbomb, diving off the top rope with his Moonsault, executing a running splash into a cornered opponent, or using the Chokeslam, Vader always looked like he was in complete control, and his opponents couldn€™t do anything to stop him. Vader€™s Chokeslam always looked different from guys like Undertaker, Kane, etc. That€™s because Vader would slam down either from a higher angle, i.e. have them land on their shoulders and upper back instead of flat on their back, or he would actually have their entire body over his shoulder and slam down with considerable ferocity. This is because he could grab their legs with his other arm, which would amplify the angle at which his opponents would land on the canvas, giving off the impression of more power being used. Vader was without doubt a versatile wrestler who could use a plethora of different moves to win a match. But it was his Chokeslam that always looked most devastating, as his opponents would always look like they got run over by a freight train when Vader was finished with them.
