10 Best David Vs. Goliath Wrestling Matches Of All Time
10. 1-2-3 Kid Vs. Razor Ramon - Raw, 1993
In the annals of WWE history, there may not be a more viscerally satisfying upset victory than 1-2-3 Kid scoring the sudden pinfall over Razor Ramon. There are a variety of reasons for this, including - but not limited to - Scott Hall's ability to sell himself as the most egocentric heel this side of Ric Flair.
So obviously Razor was going to toy with the scrappy little fella as much as he could, "cutting him to ribbons" as Bobby Heenan commented, with his knife edge chops and launching him across the ring with huge hip tosses.
He made his dominance over the Kid look effortless without having to halt the match and make a big show about it. He let his obvious strength and experience advantage do the talking, celebrating only with a big cheesy grin after a particularly impactful fallaway slam.
Amazingly, the Kid didn't mount a single bit of effective offense against Razor right up until he nailed him with a moonsault off the top rope and covered him for the quick pin, which only made the whole thing more out-of-the-blue and exciting.
So while the match was, in itself, a rather short and one-sided affair, they really stuck the landing, especially the Kid's own shock and subsequent fleeing from the ring to avoid any additional beatings.
