Whenever WWE presents a pay-per-view event, the audience expects something great. Whether it be a big finish to a match, a title change, a big swerve, or the conclusion of a feud, pay-per-views should be the culmination of a storyline. Unfortunately, with the release of the WWE Network, pay-per-views have essentially become glorified Raw episodes with the exception of Wrestlemania and the Royal Rumble. Monthly pay-per-views are no longer special, they are just something to force people to pay $9.99 for the right to watch. However, there have been some amazing pay-per-view endings during the company's history. At its peak, WWE would present "can't miss" events nearly every single month. When a storyline resonates with fans, pay-per-views serve as the climax. An effective ending to a pay-per-view not only entertains the fans that evening but also drives them to watch Raw the next night to see what happens next. The best kind of wrestling booking is the kind that pays off storylines but then makes you wonder where its going next. Throughout the years, WWE has perfectly executed a number of endings to pay-per-views. While there are certainly more than the ten that are presented here, these are the most memorable to us.
