Shelton Benjamin was receiving a renewed push following his stunning performance in the initial Money In The Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 21. When the two clashed during the Gold Rush tournament in May 2005, fans knew they were going to see something special and they weren't let down. Benjamin and Michaels had a great match, Shelton's best singles match to that point. The finish was one of best in Raw's history. As Benjamin sailed through the air towards Michaels, The Heartbreak Kid blasted him with Sweet Chin Music. They couldn't have timed it better and it really looked like Michaels knocked him out.
