10 Best Jeff Hardy Matches Ever

10. Vs. Matt Hardy - WrestleMania XXV

The Hardys have gone on to have better matches than this in 2016 in TNA (a preposterous thing to imagine 12 months ago), but their big Extreme Rules match at WrestleMania XXV holds up well to this day. It was the best match between the two and it took place on the biggest stage of them all, and in many ways this rivalry and match are almost a forgotten high point of WWE at the time.

Of course, the brothers battered seven shades of sad stuff out of each other for 13 minutes, falling off of high things and setting up spots that may be hugely contrived but are still going to pop the crowd like no one's business. That happened here of course, Matt ending up on a table with a chair on him and another chair above him. I never understood the table sandwich spots, but there we go.

This match actually has a whole lot of good wrestling too, as the two knew (and know) each other so well that the mass of counters are exactly what one expects. Jeff was unable to counter the finish, though, one of my favourite 'Mania finishes of all time. Even today, that chair-assisted Twist of Fate looks absolutely brutal.
