10 Best Matches In WWE TLC History

5. D-Generation X Vs. JeriShow (2009)

Big match atmosphere, big match players, the main event from the inaugural TLC event felt like just that; a main event. The four men involved were as experienced as it gets, and managed to put together a top quality tag team ladder match without resorting to high spots and ridiculous bumps. The ladder spots that were used were vicious without being over-the-top. They also destroyed a number of ladders throughout the match, which led directly to the finish. Jericho tried to use Big Show as a ladder in order to grab the titles, something that was obviously doomed for failure. DX stop them in their tracks and give Show a Sweet Chin Music, causing Jericho to fly over the top rope and almost go through a table, eating the corner of it and the floor instead. Show then takes another superkick and is knocked out of the ring. DX are faced with a clear run to the belts, but no working ladder to use. Triple H proceeds to hold half of a ladder in place, allowing Michaels to climb up and grab the belts. An innovative ending to a well-paced, big match bout.
