10 Best Performances From Number 1 In WWE Royal Rumble Match

10. Cactus Jack - 1998

This is cheating slightly, but we couldn't miss out one of the best performances in the history of the Rumble match.

Mick Foley kicked off the 1998 Rumble when he entered number one opposite Chainsaw Charlie, portrayed by the legendary Terry Funk.

Foley (in character as Cactus Jack) lasted just under ten minutes before being thrown out by Charlie. However, whilst Jack's night was over, Mick's was not.

About twenty minutes later, Foley entered the Rumble match for a second time, this time as Mankind. He got his revenge on Charlie by dumping him out, before he himself was eliminated by Goldust.

Yet, Mick's night still wasn't over.

The Three Faces of Foley wouldn't be complete without Dude Love, who entered the Rumble match at number 28. This makes Foley the only person in history to officially enter the same Rumble match multiple times.

Foley's "Three Faces" gimmick was one of the highlights of the Attitude Era and the decision to put all three of his gimmicks into the same Rumble was genius. Cactus Jack starting at number one and being eliminated early gave Foley the time to prepare himself for his other appearances and his scuffle with Chainsaw Charlie was extremely entertaining.

Nice job, Mick.
