3. Andre The Giant vs. Killer Khan (The Spectrum 1981)
Andre the Giant is widely regarded as one of the greatest big men in WWE history, but that goes without saying. He went 15 years without suffering a single loss via pinfall or disqualification, spending most of his career as a babyface. He was a beloved giant and it was truly a spectacle to see him wrestle. He may be best known for his feud with Hulk Hogan in 1987, but one of Andre's best feuds came in 1981 against Killer Khan. The two had countless matches against each other, but arguably their most memorable came at '81's Spectrum event in a Stretcher match. Andre may have been a force to be reckoned with in the ring, but he certainly met his match in Killer Khan. It took not one but two splashes to finally put Khan down for the count, allowing Andre to place him on the stretcher and emerge victorious.WWE bills it as its first ever Stretcher match, though its hard to disregard the prior Sicilian Stretcher matches between Bob Backlund and Billy Graham. Nevertheless, Andre's battle with Khan won the PWI award for Match of the Year in 1981, showing just how truly great it was for its time. It set the standard for Stretcher matches to come in the next few decades.
