10. Team Godwinn Vs. Team Hart (Survivor Series 1996)

The Match: Doug Furnas, Phil Lafon and The Godwinns vs. Owen Hart, The British Bulldog and The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy)

This match rarely gets the due it deserves despite being one of the best Survivor Series openers and marking the debut of the incredible tag team of Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon (who were criminally wasted through most of their WWE run).

This one smartly got rid of the Godwinns and Rockers quickly enough, allowing Furnas and Lafon to steal the spotlight with their incredible technical showcase, while having terrific opponents to work off in Owen Hart and the British Bulldog.

The ending wasn't ever really in doubt, but Furnas winning with the Release German Suplex to Owen was absolute fire. In 1996 it was just great to see a stiff Japanese style in a WWF ring, and the crowd were totally down for it.
