10 Best Talkers On WWE’s Full Time Roster
10. The Usos
Jimmy and Jey deserve huge credit for escaping the generic pacific islander gimmick they were initially pigeonholed into by WWE, and making their recent heel run a big success.
During a summer in which SmackDown was suffering under the weight of a phony champion, the Samoan twins’ programme with The New Day helped carry the Blue Brand, and proved that tag teams can produce great microphone work as well as great matches.
The Usos have highlighted the synchronised nature of a family pairing to develop a unique back-and-forth promo style which underscores their aggression and confidence. A couple of years ago, The Usos were silent for all but tribal screams, and now they are entrusted with regular segments, interviews and co-commentary slots on SmackDown.
This improvement has enhanced their characters, and made them a more well-rounded team.
