10 Best Things The Internet Has Done With WWE Raw (May 2)

RIP Dean Ambrose's potted plant. 2016-2016.

For a show where no titles changed hands, and there were no real surprise results, Payback certainly was eventful. Enzo Amore sustained a very scary concussion (and thankfully got away with no further damage), Charlotte and Charles Robinson screwed Natalya in the latest ill-advised Montreal rehash, and AJ Styles was booked to look a much better wrestler than Roman Reigns - despite losing in the end.

Additionally, Vince McMahon handed over control of Raw to both Shane and Stephanie, while Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continued to fight forever.

Plenty, for WWE to build upon on last night's Raw - and therefore plenty for the dastardly internet to sink its cynical teeth into. Let's get cracking...

10. Blue Thunder Banter

One of the most derided commentary moments from last night's Payback saw Michael Cole incorrectly call a Michinoku Driver a Blue Thunder Bomb.

Of course, on Reddit's all-seeing SquaredCircle board, this didn't go unnoticed - nor did it go unreferenced during last night's Raw.

A thread started by TheDangiestSlad asked the pertinent question "How many Blue Thunder Bombs will we see tonight?", prompting a myriad of entertaining responses.

My personal favourite was BoomanShames' "Remember that time Hulk Hogan Blue Thunder Bombed Andre the Giant at WrestleMania 3?".
