10 Best WCW PPVs Ever

8. WCW Beach Blast 1992

1992's Beach Blast pay-per-view in Mobile, Alabama on 20th June saw the future Raven, Scotty Flamingo win the light heavyweight championship from Flyin€™ Brian Pillman in an entertaining match, and a Falls Count Anywhere match between Sting and Cactus Jack which Foley considers one of his best matches ever. He€™s not wrong. The Steiners would get ugly with Steve Williams and Terry Gordy for the tag titles, and a decent six man tag match would pit Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes and Nikita Koloff against The Dangerous Alliance €“ Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton and Steve Austin, with the man who would become known as ECW€™s Paul Heyman managing them. The Dangerous Alliance would end up being disqualified, which shouldn€™t come as much of a shock. But it€™s the 30 minute Iron Man challenge between Ricky Steamboat and Rick Rude that stole the show. Both men left it all in the ring, delivering the best and most blistering match on the card, and possibly all year.
