10. Charlotte Vs. Natalya (2014 - NXT TakeOver)

The NXT Women's title was vacant for the very first TakeOver show, way back in May 2014. Erstwhile champion Paige had just stepped up to the main roster, leaving a spot vacant for the position of leading lady.

The two contenders had a great deal in common: both Charlotte and Natalya hail from famous wrestling families, with Ric Flair and Bret Hart accompanying their respective proteges to the ring.

With the opportunity to head up the imminent Women's Revolution (which hadn't yet taken shape) up for grabs, the match was fought with an intensity not seen in WWE's female division for a long time.

Apart from anything, it really made you wonder what WWE was doing with Natalya for the preceding five years, during which she had scarcely been afforded more than five minutes in the ring at a time.
