10 Best Wrestlers Under 30 In The World Today

5. Will Ospreay - 24

High-flying wrestling is largely dead in WWE, but there's no shortage of aerial artists on the independent circuit, particularly within our qualifying age group. Both Ricochet (28) and Rey Fenix (26) are worthy of consideration, but as far as pure consistency throughout a wide variety of different companies goes, Will Ospreay has both beaten in 2017.

The 24-year-old from Rainham, Essex is in the midst of the best in-ring year of his career. From tremendous bouts with Josh Bodom and Drew Galloway on the UK indies to Match Of The Year candidates with Ricochet and KUSHIDA in Japan, 'The Aerial Assassin' never fails to deliver.

He's a divisive performer, but so much more than the "spot monkey" tag that wrestlers of his ilk are often given, with the aforementioned KUSHIDA bout a perfect example of his underrated in-ring technique. Ospreay has mastered the flippydoos, but his mat wrestling and psychology continue to evolve, which will serve him well when age inevitably forces to him to slow down.

Ospreay is bound to his NJPW contract until April 2018. Here's hoping the company find a way to get the most out of him before then, because his lack of consistent push there is his career's only major disappointment.
