10 Best Wrestling Entrance Themes Of WWE's Ruthless Aggression Era
3. Edge - Metalingus (Alter Bridge)
Edge could have had two themes on this list with Rob Zombie's Never Gonna Stop being the song many fans associate with his successful SmackDown run after the Invasion angle. The song acted as his theme during feuds with the likes of Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Chris Benoit, but missed out on this list due to the quality of its successor.
Edge started using Metalingus by Alter Bridge in 2004 and kept it for the rest of his active career. The song would begin with a heavy explosion of double bass pedals only for singer Myles Kennedy to usher in a frantic explosion of energy tailor-made for Edge's trademark entrance. For any wrestling fan it is hard to hear this song without picturing the pillars of smoke billowing from the stage.
Few songs recorded out of the WWE’s own in-house system manage to become synonymous with a superstar but this song achieved just that. An amazing song that doubled as a perfect entrance theme.
