10 Best Wrestling Fan Signs Of 2021
MJF gets abused, Rollins Boo-urns it down, and Kenny ponders his Golden Lovers' partner.
Much like 2020, a large part of 2021 has been a strange time for those who love to attend wrestling events.
AEW had fans back in attendance from May of this year, WWE didn't bring fans fully back to venues until July, and promotions like Ring of Honor, IMPACT Wrestling, the NWA and New Japan Pro Wrestling had to struggle on in empty arenas for most of 2021.
Here at WhatCulture Wrestling, each year there's a chance to reflect back on some of the greatest fan signs of the past 12 months. While this list is indeed the 2021 iteration of this tradition, the point being made above is that there aren't quite as many signs to choose from due to the sheer lack of an audience for so many PPVs and weekly TV shows.
Even when WWE temporarily brought fans back for WrestleMania 37, there were barely any signs visible, likely due to the utterly horrendous weather conditions in Tampa, Florida during that weekend. Still, there have been some absolutely brilliant signs seen spotted across the past several months, with AEW and WWE programming showcasing some smart and funny quips from fans.
With that in mind, then, here are ten of the best pro wrestling signs seen this year as 2021 starts to roll to a close.
10. We're MJF's Parents And We Think He Sucks Too!
Who doesn't despise Maxwell Jacob Friedman, right? In a world full of wrestling villains, few are as slimy, underhand, arrogant and, admittedly, good as MJF.
While it's one thing to see wrestling crowds across the United States ferociously booing the Pinnacle star out of buildings on a weekly basis, it turns out that even Max's own parents aren't all that keen on him.
Nina and Steven Freidman decided to make their own sign to take to the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite from Arthur Ashe Stadium on 22 September. MJF may have picked up a submission victory over Brian Pillman Jr. on that night, but his parents were clear to make it known they think their son sucks.
The Friedmans and their sign would also be featured on FITE TV prior to that AEW Dynamite episode airing, and they'd reiterate their anti-Max stance by labelling him a "f**king idiot".

As for MJF himself, he was quick to give his own blunt, brilliant thoughts on Twitter.
