8. Roman Reigns Vs. Daniel Bryan - Fastlane 2015

If anything, the main event from the very first edition of Fastlane was the final word on which direction the WWE was going to head in the short term with regards to Roman Reigns. Another match to determine who would get a title shot at WrestleMania, many (myself included) saw this as a chance to swap Reigns for Bryan, after the hugely negative reaction the former got for winning the Royal Rumble. This didn't come to pass as Roman pulled out the victory, but the match itself was fantastic. Roman Reigns does not get enough credit for his ability to perform in big match situations, and this was the first example of him really stepping up to the plate in singles competition. Obviously, it helps being in the ring with a man like Daniel Bryan, and this match would come to represent Bryan's final big singles match in professional wrestling. We didn't know that at the time though, and of course Bryan wrestled as if he was fully aware of the fact himself. The match was wrestled in a hugely aggressive fashion, with some great near falls towards the end. The post-match handshake was another attempt at legitimising Reigns in the fans eyes, something which still hasn't quite happened.
