6. Finn Balor vs. Adrian Neville (NXT TakeOver: Rival)

WWE have rightly been praised for how they've turned NXT into a breeding ground of excellence over the past few years. It's been said that the rise of The Shield on the main roster, and the success they experienced, has helped pave the way for others to be taken more seriously, but it's impossible not to recognise the talents of men like Neville and Finn Balor. It was both those men who would light up the crowd for their match at NXT TakeOver: Rival in February, in a bout designed to determine who would become the #1 Contender for the NXT Heavyweight Title. Suitably, there was a ton of high-flying, because that's what has really brought both Neville and Balor to the dance (as PAC and Fergal Devitt respectively). Killer counter moves and intuitive sequences aplenty were also the order of the day, this was like watching poetry in motion. Neville has already made the jump up to the main WWE roster, and it shouldn't be too long before Balor joins him there. When he does, creative could do a lot worse than programming these men opposite one another - a title doesn't even need to be involved, just give them the 15 minutes they were afforded here and watch jaws drop.
