10 Best Wrestling Matches Of The Week (July 4)
10. New Day & Bo Dallas vs. Prime Time Players & Lucha Dragons (Raw)
A multi-man tag match on Raw that goes around 15 minutes is always a recipe for an above average match. WWE should consider making this formula as routine as they can because these almost always end hot.
It's good to see Lucha Dragons in the mix on this one because there's no reason they can't be more legitimate contenders than they are right now.
Prime Time Players have a good formula when they get into their rhythm. Darren Young typically plays the face in peril role until he can finally get the hot tag to Titus O'Neil, who then proceeds to clean house. That's what happened in this match and it had a high-energy final few minutes.
Titus pinned Kofi after a sitout slam to get his team the win. Considering the tag division has suffered enormous losses due to injuries from The Usos and Kidd & Cesaro there are several teams more than willing and able to step it up, as evidenced by this match on Raw.
