10 Best Wrestling Titles Ever

8. WCWA 6-Man Tag-Team Championship

Originally, World Class Championship Wrestling - running primarily in the state of Texas - promoted this belt under the governance of the NWA, but the title would run for two years as the WCWA 6-Man Tag-Team Championship. All in all, the title had a six-year stay in WCCW during the 1980's, fitting given the name of the belt. Mainly switching between being held by The Fabulous Freebirds and their main rivals, The Von Erichs, this set of titles was strictly defended in 6-man tag bouts, hence the name. Even though it wasn't around for very long, it was popular with fans, and the title belts themselves reflect the prestige of holding them. Sideplates are often the hallmark of a good title, and the WCWA 6-man Tag belts featured three wrestlers on either side, hoisting aloft a globe into the air. There's a milky smooth quality to the design, which only helps the originality, and it's easy to see that titles like this inspired future companies, with the WWE World Tag-Team Title belts later bearing more than a passing resemblance.
