Where: MADtv Date: November 26, 2005 It may have been crasser. It may have been in incredibly poor taste. But on its best day, MADtv was superior to SNL less fixated on being clever, and more focused on being funny. And this particular sketch, starring Bobby Lee and John Cena, shows off the Doctor of Thuganomics's natural charisma. We were all surprised by his Cena's cameo in Trainwreck, but maybe we shouldn't have been when we consider his past comedic chops. It doesnt matter whether hes playing the heel or serving as the WWEs charity spokesperson the man is straight up likable. And Bobby Lee? That guy has no shame. Just check out how he sells those slaps and try not to laugh along with it.
