She is the darling of the internet for sure, and there is a very valid argument that says Sasha Banks has been the best professional wrestler in the United States in 2015. She started the year by picking up the NXT Women's Championship from Charlotte at NXT TakeOver: Rival (the match was a four way also involving Becky Lynch and Bayley) and would go on to hold the strap for 192 days. Bayley defeated her for the title and the two would put on a history-making Ironman match at NXT TakeOver: Respect. Banks was unsuccessful in this match, but by this point she was making a splash on the main roster as part of Team BAD in the Divas Revolution. She may not have been pushed as the major star of the show so far, but Banks is quite clearly going to be the biggest star coming out of it. Crowds already know this, with their frequent 'We Want Sasha' chants, and all signs are pointing to a big 2016 for The Boss. 2015 was a year of revolution and counter-revolution for the divas of World Wrestling Entertainment, and it will also be remembered as the year Sasha Banks truly became something special.
