Despite only signing with the company at the end of August, the wrestler formerly known as Kana deserves a place on the list purely because of the way she has been presented. Instead of following the usual path of vignette, vignette, debut, Asuka was played up as a major international acquisition for the company. Why? Because that is exactly what she is. She became the first female performer that I can remember to receive the fabled contract signing treatment, and no opponent has even come close to challenging her as of yet. Many divas make their debut in the company and are immediately protected (see Nia Jax currently), but the presentation of Asuka is something else completely. The future is outrageously bright for Asuka, and only a catastrophe will stop her being higher up this list in 12 months time.
