Naturally, you can't have one side of the coin without the other: the 10 Best WWE Face Turns Of The 2010s.

It's telling that this list was much harder to compose. It seems like the art of a good face turn has been lost in recent years; gone are the days of Batista putting his thumbs down to Evolution, Andre the Giant turning on Bobby Heenan, and Randy Savage reuniting with Miss Elizabeth.

Whilst heel turns are often big, memorable moments designed to shock fans, more recent face turns are often slow builds with characters gradually becoming fan favourites over time. Or they just turn up as a heel one week and a face the next, *cough* Alexa Bliss *cough*.

That being said, we have still been treated to some brilliant face turns over the last ten years. Some have become legendary, some have been overlooked, and some were never meant as face turns at all. But we got them and here they are.

10. Erick Rowan - Raw 2014

In late 2014, a series of promos began airing proclaiming that Wyatt Family members, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, had been "set free". Many fans were curious to see what became of the former cult members and they got half of their answer pretty quickly.

Harper aligned himself with The Authority, joining their team at Survivor Series to face John Cena and his partners. He even won the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler with The Authority's help.

With Harper getting all this attention, many assumed that Rowan had simply been forgotten about. That was, until the 17 November episode of Raw.

With Team Authority fully assembled, Team Cena was still lacking a member. It looked like Cesaro was going to fill that void, but this turned out to be a swerve by the baddies. Just when it looked like all hope was lost, who should make his way to the ring but Big Red himself.

Rowan joined Team Cena and defied his former Wyatt brother, making him the first member of The Wyatt Family to turn babyface in WWE.

Rowan was eliminated by Harper at Survivor Series and the rest of his face run was quite disappointing, but this was a genuine shock that had a lot of people really rooting for the big beardy boy.
