10 Best WWE Heel Moments Of 2017

10. Dolph Attacks King

Bringing up the time Jerry Lawler suffered a real-life heart attack while sitting at the Monday Night Raw commentary desk is cheap - but, since this was the moment that made official Ziggler's (at the time, promising) heel turn, we'll allow it.

It was justified by the context too. The 37-year-old was coming off the back of his doomed pursuit of The Miz's Intercontinental Title during the latter half of 2016, his credibility almost completely shot after dropping the belt mere weeks after threatening retirement.

Turning pity into genuine heat was always going to take something truly despicable, and kicking an old man in his ticker - especially when that old man is a bona fide wrestling legend, dressed head to toe in his "King" garb - was exactly what the doctor ordered (although, obviously not Lawler's doctor).

This was a heel moment so dastardly that Dolph actually managed to appear unreasonable by comparison to JBL of all people, who rushed to the aid of his former broadcast colleague after watching the incident unfold from ringside.
