10 Best WWE Matches Of 2019 (So Far)

10. Daniel Bryan Vs. Kevin Owens Vs. Ali (Fastlane)

That this match was so successful in turning a nasty, baying crowd around marks it as one of the year's biggest in-ring successes in itself.

Vince McMahon pulled a major troll job at Fastlane. With Kofi Kingston campaigning for a WWE Title shot, the Chairman entertained adding him to the existing Kevin Owens vs. Daniel Bryan match early in the show, only to book him in a horrendous, unwinnable handicap bout with The Bar. Sheamus and Cesaro killed him in five minutes. Still, at least the WWE Championship clash had been made a three-way. At least Kofi would finally get his spot.

Nope! A third man did come out for the match, but it was Ali. A crowd praying for Kingston voiced their understandable discontent, and this left three talented, likeable performers with a Herculean task.

The trio won them over with slick, fast-paced action, and one of the best bouts of Bryan's awesome title run, with the defending champ, Ali, and KO working minor miracles to stave off the "Kofi!" chants. In the end, they produced a relentless title fight highlighted by Daniel's match-ending midair flying knee.
