7. Sasha Banks (c) Vs. Becky Lynch - TakeOver: Unstoppable
TakeOver: Unstoppable was the second in the series in 2015, and a fair argument could be made for it being the weakest of the shows in the year. Still, it was full of good matches, storyline development and the debut of Samoa Joe, so it couldn't have been that bad. One match stood tall over everything else on the show however, and once again it involved the women of NXT. Sasha Banks' run as NXT Women's Champion was full to the brim of excellent matches, but this one against Becky Lynch came as a bit of a surprise to some. Lynch's ability wasn't under question, but at this point she was definitely seen as the fourth wheel on the NXT women's juggernaut. As such, this match was something of a coming out party for Becky Lynch. The two traded submissions throughout, displaying an intensity that not many would be able to top throughout the year. Banks would pull out the win with the Bank Statement and go on to continue her run as champion. I apologise for sounding like a broken record, but the character work and facial expressions displayed by both performers throughout this match were so on-point it is impossible to avoid. Sasha really brought the viciousness, and the disappointment in Becky's face after the match was pitch perfect.
