Those ratings weren't even particularly controversial either. Everyone knew they had seen something special after watching his January NXT Title match opposite Andrade Almas, and the one against former partner Tommaso Ciampa in New Orleans was arguably even better.

He's also succeeded in completely turning around the fan's perception of him, going from being a decent tag team worker to a potential main roster world champion, all in the space of a couple of matches.

The examples of Neville and Sami Zayn ought to remind us that making the step up to Raw or SmackDown isn't always plain-sailing, but we're fully justified in feeling a sense of excitement around his long-term future.
