2. Dean Ambrose Cashes In (Money In The Bank)
There's an argument to be made that the whole concept of Money In The Bank feels a little tired by this point. For over a decade now, wrestlers have been vying to hold the briefcase, giving them a virtual guarantee of champion status at some point over the following 12 months. Regardless of its length of tenure, there's still something exciting about Money In The Bank.
Most recently, that was proved to be true by none other than Dean Ambrose. Winning the multi-man Ladder Match on the show, Ambrose later cashed in on Seth Rollins to close out the same pay-per-view. Making matters even more dramatic, Rollins had beaten Roman Reigns to become the WWE Champion just minutes earlier.
On the exact same broadcast, all three former members of The Shield held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. In years to come, that'll be the answer to a wrestling trivia question, the kind of thing that only happens very rarely.
Fans in Las Vegas were going crazy when Ambrose cashed in, over the moon that he was the new titleholder.
