1. Team WWF - The Rock, The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho & Big Show (Survivor Series 2001)
In 2001, Vince McMahon purchased WCW, and kicked off the now infamous Invasion storyline. Despite any feelings fans have over the execution of the actual storyline, Team WWF was the greatest collection of talent ever assembled for a Survivor Series contest. They were a true dream team. Furthermore, the squad featured a square in his prime Dwayne The Rock Johnson (Best or Second Best Star of The Attitude Era), Chris Jericho who was a month away from becoming the first undisputed champion, The Brothers of Destruction, The Undertaker and Kane, and The Big Show who was already a former WCW and WWF Champion. If you were counting, those are 5 Hall Of Famers, nearing or at the peak of their powers. Although tension existed with some members of the team, they put it aside to defeat The Alliance when Kurt Angle turned against the invaders. The pre-match promo really illustrates the importance of this team. Vince McMahon tells each man, This match is for the highest stakes any of you have ever competed for! Which in hindsight is laughable, but at the time seemed plausible. Until WWE assembles a team greater than this, Team WWF of 2001 will reign supreme in Survivor Series lore.
