Bianca Belair is one of the best professional wrestlers that WWE has right now. She is an undoubted megastar in the making once her push begins, and is capable of putting on great matches with a variety of opponents. While she delivered immensely in an extraordinary performance against Shayna Baszler in January 2019, and had a selection of good matches across that year, her real crowning moment came during her work in the 2020 Royal Rumble.

Coming in at number two and lasting longer than 30 minutes, Bianca’s performance saw her eliminating eight other women and controlling the first half of the match. She got to display her intense charisma, freakish strength and sublime conditioning during her stint, getting over huge with the Texan crowd. Her exchanges with Alexa Bliss were some of both women’s best work in the company to date, and the chemistry she had with Charlotte should be the catalyst a money match at some point in the future. Upon her elimination, the crowd and those watching at home knew that the EST of NXT was a big deal.

Her excellent performance at TakeOver: Portland against Rhea Ripley cemented her status as a talent, with her clean loss being controversial amongst the NXT faithful who believed it was her time. Her debut at WrestleMania promises high things, and despite her being off TV for now, it seems inevitable that Bianca will be a multiple time women’s champion sooner than later.
