This US-exclusive comes from Goodtimes Home Video rather than Coliseum Home Video, and is not to be confused with the similarly named CHV release WrestleMania's Greatest Matches. I debated whether to include this comp tape at all because while of the four matches on offer one is good, one is great, and two are legendary, they are all plucked from their respective WrestleMania shows and are readily available elsewhere. However, if you have never seen any of those matches before then this is a must. The most iconic match in WWF history the Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant bout from WrestleMania III opens the tape and sets the tone, though for it to be followed by the hard-hitting and fairly decent (but not great) Steiner Brothers vs. Headshrinkers clash from WrestleMania IX is an odd one. I guess the WWF wanted some more recent (in relative terms to when it was released) action on the tape rather than just classics from many years prior. Once that is out of the way the underrated war between Bret Hart and Roddy Piper from WrestleMania VIII reminds you just how good matches that tell dramatic stories can be. We finish up with one of the all-time greats, the flawless Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat masterclass from WrestleMania III, which still holds up to this day. An absolutely riveting hour of viewing.
