Current Finisher: ‘Rear View’ (Flying Butt Bump)

Naomi recently became a heel Diva, and changed her look substantially from when she was billed as one of the Funkadactyls. She’s meaner, more aggressive, and looks more like ex-WWE Diva Jazz (who was also intimidating) than she does a cheerleader. As such, her finisher should reflect her persona, and be more of an extension of her personality.

Her current finisher, the ‘Rear View’ Butt Bump, is clearly a babyface manoeuvre. Mo one booed when Rikishi gave someone the Stinkface, and the same principle applies here. Naomi’s finisher shouldn’t be faced on the fact that she has wide hips.

Suggested New Finisher: Michinoku Driver

Though it might look like nothing more than a modified Scoop Slam, the Michinoku Driver’s effectiveness lies in its simplicity. It’s much less ‘situational’ than Naomi’s current finisher, and the sit-out position and higher angle of the victim’s fall makes it look like the move does more damage, which is exactly the kind of impression that Naomi should be trying to make as one of WWE’s new heel divas. 

All Naomi has to do is slam her opponent down with ferocity, and she’ll be a much more convincing heel that she would be if she kept using her buttocks as a weapon.
