10 Big Mistakes WWE Can't Afford To Make At Roadblock: End Of The Line

2. A Lack Of Triple H

Speaking of Triple H, it’s time for WWE to finally pull the trigger on the overdue Seth Rollins feud. The Game’s spectre has lingered ominously over Raw’s main event scene since Hunter first turned on Rollins to cost him the Universal Championship, and while Triple H hasn’t appeared on television in months, Seth keeps bringing his name up in promos and interviews.

The payoff’s finally coming, and there are strong hints that the two will face at the Royal Rumble to set Rollins up as a potential WrestleMania title challenger. If that’s the case, WWE need to kick things into gear pronto, and Roadblock would make for a perfect jump-off.

Nobody wants to see another WWE PPV mired by interference and misdirection, and as mentioned earlier, this isn’t a show that WWE can afford to fill with too many angles. They can make an exception here, however: have Triple H reappear to attack Rollins following his match with Jericho, and all will be well.

The only Royal Rumble build we’ve had so far has revolved around Goldberg and Brock Lesnar’s inclusion in the match. The event is still a month and a half away, but if WWE want to build a few compelling stories ahead of the Rumble, they must start now. Triple H vs. Rollins has been on the backburner too long, and it’s time to get it out of the way.
