10 Big TNA Signings That Were Completely Wasted

That needs to be stated, so you can understand how she managed to bring in one big former WCW and WWE player after the next into the fold. It wasn’t because she built a successful wrestling company from the ground up, made a bunch of stars and then used that money to bring in even bigger stars. No, she had rich parents who used to fund TNA, until they got sick of losing money, as one tends to do, and then decided not to fund it anymore. That's the entire story.
But for awhile, one famous wrestler after the next joined TNA. They came from the Attitude Era, or were cast-offs from WWE and ready for a new start on Impact. And somehow, nearly every single time it was half as interesting as it should have been (at best).
Tons and tons of money was thrown at these big contracts with very little payout. It’s pretty crazy to think that nearly every single time someone would come in with a bit buzz, the TNA ecosystem would eat them up and make them feel like just another wrestler in no time. But they weren’t just like every other wrestler there, because they were making far more money than the TNA originals, who were drawing the same ratings as the former main-eventers.
As the company barrels towards it’s potential demise, now is a good time to look back at 10 of those names that TNA hired to big money deals and then completely blew it.
