Will Hobbs, now known as Powerhouse Hobbs, would say otherwise.

The Team Taz member made such an impression on AEW executives that we was the only non-regular member of the AEW roster (aside from the debuting Matt Sydal, of course) to enter the 2020 Casino Battle Royale at All Out. Not long after, he would be signed to a contract, put in segments involving Jon Moxley and Cody Rhodes, and later turned heel to join the Taz-helmed faction alongside Brian Cage and Ricky Starks.

Hobbs now regularly dons an attire similar to the one worn by 'The Human Suplex Machine' throughout his career. There are big things coming his way in the imminent future.

Had the All Out appearance been a sole big-time spot for ol' Will, then things would have no doubt played out differently. That he used the Tuesday night opportunities to work his way into a full-time gig, though, proves that the powers that be have faith in him to succeed. Aligned with Taz, Cage, and Starks, Hobbs has come a long, long way from jobbing to the likes of Shawn Spears
