10 Biggest Breakout Stars Of WWE's Brand Extension

6. Naomi

Naomi had long been one of the most athletically gifted female performers in all of WWE but until the brand extension was never allowed to break through the glass ceiling. She was always stuck behind the likes of Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.

All she needed was one opportunity, for the writing staff to take a chance on her to showcase her abilities and talents in a high-profile story or match. She got it in February, when she challenged Alexa Bliss for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

The Queen of Glow had been building momentum for herself in the month or so preceding the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, but it was on that evening that she pinned Bliss and realized her dream of holding championship gold.

Shaking off a knee injury that threatened to derail the momentum she had built for herself at the start of the the year, she returned prematurely at WrestleMania 33 and won her second title, firmly establishing herself as one of the premier stars in the women's division and a legitimate breakout star from this incarnation of the WWE brand split.
