A known wrestling fan, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart has recently been in the news due to his rivalry with current Mr. Money In The Bank, Seth Rollins. The WWE star has appeared on The Daily Show, and Stewart even recorded a promo of his own, sending it into WWE and seeing it aired during the recent Fast Lane Pay-Per-View. It's little surprise that WWE will use any mainstream media coverage they can get their grubby mitts on - The Daily Show is watched by millions of people in North America alone, so it's only logical that Vince McMahon's company will jump at the chance to be associated with Stewart. The political satire of The Daily Show obviously isn't something typically associated as being something the predominant pro wrestling demographic would be interested in, but that's far from the point here - the fact is that Stewart is in the public eye to a more casual market than WWE, and he could feasibly turn a few customers towards the promotion. The man has even bemoaned the ending of The Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak on air!
