Booking The Shield vs. The New Day would be a tall order for WWE. The Ambrose/Rollins/Reigns reunion isn't expected to extend beyond a couple of months, Roman is sidelined with a viral infection, and the two stables currently occupy different brands. Throw the fact that they're both working as babyfaces into the equation, and you're left with one of our least likely matches.

What a bout it would be, though.

The Shield are WWE's greatest modern stable, and their return provoked mass excitement prior to Reigns' hospitalisation. The New Day, meanwhile, have inherited their role as the company's top trio, and a group WWE clearly see long-term money in, given recent reports that they plan on having them break the Dudley Boyz's long-held record of nine Tag Team Title reigns.
