Time flies faster than a jet plane across the sky, except the one meant to pick up the WWE superstars from Saudi Arabia, in which case it wouldn’t mean much. All joking aside though, here we are at the end of another ten year journey and inching that much closer to our deaths.

The 2010s have been an incredibly action packed ride for the world of pro wrestling and as always, WWE have given us moments that we will never forget. While some of those were undoubtedly for all the wrong reasons, others did nothing but make us smile ear to ear with the occasional tear running down our eyes.

From impossible dreams coming true to the greatest of recovery journeys, the 2010s have had no shortage of times when being a wrestling fan felt like the most rewarding thing on earth. And with the decade officially entering its final run, there is no better time for a look back. These are the ten biggest feelgood moments WWE gave us in the last ten years.

10. Goldberg Destroys Brock Lesner

Goldberg’s first WWE run was a story of squandered potential and disappointing storylines. The exclamation mark came at WrestleMania XX, where his time at the company ended after one of the most abysmal showings in the event's history.

Many years passed but the hearts of diehard fans still ached at the thought of what could have been. Amazingly, they weren’t alone, because Goldberg himself, and believe it or not his final vanquished foe, big bad Brock Lesnar, shared that sentiment. There were a fair few knots to undo but eventually, Bill made his momentous return to WWE television.

The atmosphere that night was nothing short of electric. Instantly, this became biggest thing in pro wrestling at the time. The match was soon set for Survivor Series and fans everywhere were counting down the days.

Despite all the hype though, no one, and absolutely no one could have predicted what was coming. Brock Lesnar came flying out of the blocks early on but was shoved to the mat with authority unlike any he had faced before. One spear, two spears, a jackhammer, and it was all over. 1 minute 26 seconds; that’s how long it took to shatter Brock’s invincibility.

The crowd was gobsmacked, looking on in disbelief. Brock and Heyman did their bit too, selling it like the world had stopped spinning. It may as well have. However as the shock wore off, it was replaced by sheer, undiluted joy. This was the miracle we didn’t know we wanted. And boy oh boy did it feel good to be a part of.

Goldberg then celebrated with his son in the ring as everyone left the arena, or turned off their TVs, feeling good about the day they chose to start watching wrestling.
